Rachel and Connor’s big day at The Bell in Ticehurst on 9th October 2025 was one of those weddings you can’t help but smile about. The venue itself is packed with personality; quirky décor, cosy corners and a charm that fits couples who want something a bit different. It suited them perfectly.

We first crossed paths at a wedding fair, where they spotted my VW DJ booth and immediately said, “Yep… that’s the one.” Fast forward to their wedding night and that booth ended up being right at the centre of an absolutely electric dance floor.
The brilliant photographer Zoltan from Soul of My Lens captured the day in such an incredible way, and he kindly gave permission for me to share some of his shots. His style really brings out the atmosphere of the venue and the energy from the evening.
Music wise, these two didn’t hold back. They came with a playlist full of favourites, dance floor fillers and a couple of wild cards that went down a treat. And the highlight? Their legendary DJ battle. They each jumped behind the booth, hyped up their guests, and took turns choosing tracks to outdo each other. The crowd absolutely loved it, and honestly, so did I!
It was one of those nights where everything just clicked: great people, a brilliant venue and amazing music choices. Huge thanks again to Rachel and Connor for having me and to Zoltan for the awesome photos.
