Two Woods Estate, a perfect woodland wedding venue

Set in 42 acres of beautiful English woodland near Pulborough in the heart of West Sussex, Two Woods Estate is truly a breath of fresh air in every way.  Arrange to meet the owners, Jade and Mark.  They will take you on a fairytale journey through their fabulous estate.  First, you will see the Two Woods Barn which has been lovingly refurbished to a very high standard.  Upstairs, there is a well furnished and decorated bridal suite with everything you could want including a lovely bathroom, bedroom and kitchen areas.  Downstairs, the barn consists of the main room which is licensed for civil ceremonies, a bar area, and the usual facilities.  The main room is perfect for a wedding breakfast, and of course the party later on.  Open the patio doors, and you have a lovely patio and grassed area to relax in, and maybe have a BBQ.

A unique Venue

This barn alone would be enough to celebrate in beautiful surroundings.  But there is so much more here to be discovered, and the surprises keep coming.  Let’s take a leisurely stroll into the woods…  We arrive at a clearing where ancient looking huge stones are arranged in a kind of henge.  What an atmospheric place to chill!

Two Woods Estate – the Secret meadow

Let’s continue down the path, kicking up all those rusty oak leaves as we go.  We arrive at the Secret Meadow.  This 10 acre site is perfect to camp in.  You could even have a marquee or Tipi tent erected for those bigger wedding parties.  Later, as the sun sets, you could all sit around the campfire and party the night away with the stars above.  Mark and Jade have even got showers, loos, electricity sorted up there, and you can even use one of the refurbished 50’s and 60’s caravans! This space has Festival Wedding written all over it! But this is not the only jewel in the crown, let’s walk on..

Two Woods Estate – The Redwood Forest

Just around the corner from the secret meadow, we arrive at a fabulously ornate gate.  What could be there?  Open the gate, walk in…  This will take your breath away.  A forest of beautiful redwoods with a path leading to a clearing are in front of you.  In the clearing is space for seating your guests on straw bales or seats, and a wooden building for the wedding ceremony to take place.

In all the years I have worked in this industry, I have never seen such an amazing place.  You are at one with nature, the sounds of the forest are all around.  It’s a calm and serene place with so many opportunities for a truly unique wedding.  You could even book this for a birthday party or a corporate event.  Jade and Mark have worked very hard in making Two Woods so special and quirky. And they have made links with some very creative people in our industry who will also have some brilliant ideas for you.

Two Woods is licensed for civil ceremonies in the barn and in the Redwood Forest.  So if you are looking for a really unique place to get married, it doesn’t get much better than this.  I can provide my ceremony music service in the Redwood Forest as well as in the barn, and of course, if you are looking for a wedding DJ or Master of ceremonies for the day, you know where to go!
