Stansted Park, a fabulous Edwardian Manor House

Weddings at Stansted Park, Rowans Castle
Stansted Park is a stunning venue for a wedding. This almost hidden gem is located near the village of Rowlands Castle in Hampshire. It is set within an estate of 1750 acres of ancient forests in the South Downs National Park which straddles West Sussex and Hampshire. This is undoubtedly one of the most unique venues I have worked in. This elegant Edwardian manor house features many fabulous spaces for celebrating a wedding. Stansted Park is licensed for civil ceremonies by West Sussex County Council.
A perfect wedding venue
The light and airy main hall is the first room you will see when entering the building, and it makes a lovely space for a drinks reception. The Music Room is the perfect place for a wedding ceremony with its fabulous views of the estate to the rear of the house. The Drawing room makes a perfect setting for a sumptuous wedding breakfast.
The Servants Quarters
The servant’s quarters below the main house are a fascinating insight into years gone by and are steeped in history. The Servant’s Hall makes a quirky but perfect space to dance the night away to the early hours to a band or wedding DJ. And the Crypt makes a brilliant bar space with its fascinating vaulted ceiling.
For bigger weddings, marquees can be used within the stunning grounds of this estate. This means it is a most flexible venue for your perfect wedding day.
