Thank you so much for your booking, I really appreciate it. This page contains downloadable guides for what you need to do next, and downloadable forms for you to fill in your music requests.
You may have booked me to be your DJ for the evening party, and maybe you have booked my daytime services too, such as my ceremony music production service, background music production service, and you may also have booked me as your Master of Ceremonies. As my clients book me for different services, I will explain what needs to happen, and by when for each type of service I provide. Some of these may not be relevant to you.
If you have booked me for ceremony music and / or Master of Ceremonies duties, I will arrange for us to have a planning meeting about a month before your wedding. The checklists below, and the music request forms are a really useful guide to what you need to prepare for this meeting, please do download, print, and use them.
No printer at home? Let me know, I can send them in the post!
Ceremony music production
For this service, I need you to think about the music you want me to play for the ceremony, and fill in the Ceremony Music request form (it’s the green button below).
These could include the following:
- Some choices of pre-ceremony background music
- Wedding party entrance music
- Music for the signing of the schedule – allow 10 minutes or about 3 song choices for this
- The newlyweds exit music
Master of ceremonies service
For this service, I need you to think about the timeline of your day, who will be making speeches, and any background music choices to be played. We will discuss all the details at our planning meeting.
Think about these:
- Timeline of the wedding day
- Activities
- Speeches
- Background music for the drinks reception
- Background music for the wedding breakfast
Evening Party DJ
For this service, I need you to think about what kind of music you love to dance to, and fill in the Evening Party Music request form (it’s the green button below). Typically, I ask my clients for a few request lists as follows:
- Special songs such as first dance etc…
- A must play request list (no more than 30)
- A play if possible request list (no more than 40)
- A list of “don’t you dares”
- Any guest requests of what they promise to dance to
- The Newlyweds DJ battle
