New Year’s Eve was celebrated in truly refined style at the magnificent Amberley Castle, where I had the pleasure of DJing an elegant and unforgettable evening for guests seeing in the New Year.
Set within one of West Sussex’s most iconic and historic venues, the night perfectly balanced luxury, intimacy and celebration. I was delighted to be booked once again, exclusively for this event, by the excellent Spotlight Entertainments, who are renowned for delivering beautifully curated experiences in exceptional settings.
The evening began with guests enjoying a sumptuous dinner within the castle, surrounded by its timeless architecture and warm atmosphere. Carefully selected background music accompanied the meal, creating an elegant ambience while allowing conversation to flow and anticipation to build for the celebrations ahead.
Following dinner, guests moved downstairs where the evening seamlessly transitioned into a lively yet sophisticated New Year’s Eve party. With a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, the dance floor quickly became the heart of the celebration. A bespoke mix of classic favourites, contemporary floor fillers and guest requests kept the energy high while remaining perfectly suited to the grandeur of the venue.
As midnight approached, the atmosphere reached its peak. Guests gathered together, each holding a glass of champagne, to welcome the New Year with Big Ben followed by the traditional Auld Lang Syne, a memorable and emotional moment shared by all.
Moments later, everyone stepped outside to enjoy a spectacular fireworks display, illuminating the castle grounds and providing a breathtaking start to the year ahead. The celebrations then continued back on the dance floor with more music and dancing into the New Year.
Amberley Castle offers a remarkable backdrop for elegant celebrations, and it was a privilege to provide the soundtrack for such a special occasion.
