Bartholomew Barn, Kirdford, West Sussex

Bartholomew Barn is a lovely wedding venue nestled in the rolling West Sussex hills in Kidford between Billingshurst and Petworth.  This  grade II listed rural barn is set in the grounds of a beautiful and intimate garden which is lovingly looked after by the owner, and features a walled courtyard which is perfect for socialising.  The barn is licensed for civil ceremonies, so you can exchange your vows in this calm and wonderful setting.  Inside the barn, there is a lovely fireplace which you just have to use on a cold evening for that fabulous feeling of warmth!  All the usual facilities are available, with spaces for the bar and catering staff.  If you have a large wedding with lots of guests, it is also possible to erect a marquee on the grounds.  The barn itself is really charming with its oak beams and wooden floor.  Two huge glazed doors offer lots of light and views over the farmland.  The courtyard has a big raised pond and lots of flowering plants. It’s such a relaxing place, and if you wonder into the garden you will find a lovely little wooden summer house to chill out in!
