Susie and Ben’s wedding, 20th June 2015

What a FABULOUS day we had, the weather was great, the wine was flowing, and love, fun, and celebration were in full flow! I met Susie and Ben in October 2013 at the start of their planning journey, and from that moment, it was obvious their guests were in for a real celebration.

During our planning meetings, we discussed the music in detail, as this was a very important part of their day. They told me they wanted a wedding which was ‘very upbeat’, fun and relaxed. I provided the music production for the ceremony, background music throughout the day, and of course, I DJ’d the evening party too.

It’s always great working at Upwaltham Barns, the owners Nicola and Tim’s attention to detail is fabulous, and their recommended wedding suppliers know how to provide the best for their clients, so it was great to see the A team ready for action!

The ceremony

As all the guests arrived, I played a summery selection of tunes to set the mood of the day. Susie, accompanied by her father walked down the aisle to Staralfur – Sigur Ros, and once they exchanged vows, Susie and Ben walked out as husband and wife to Walk of Life – Dire Straits.

During the drinks reception, Kelly took plenty of photos whilst the Nibbles 2 Nosh team served some mouth watering canapés. This is where Ben chose some amazing tracks which had everyones’ feet tapping, including mine!
