On 14th August 1971, my parents bought me a new VW Type 2 Split Screen campervan.  To this day, I still own this beauty as it is a highly treasured vehicle.  During the early years, it suffered a few knocks and dings, but surprisingly, it did stay in one piece.  Here it is today:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, it’s my favourite Matchbox toy, and I love it!  So fast forward to 2014 when I had an idea.  Wouldn’t it be great to build a DJ booth which looks like this?  I have been to many events such as Bug Jam, and with a resurgence in popularity for all things vintage in the wedding industry, it made sense!  So, after a few years of research and thinking, it was time for action.  I commissioned a specialist engineer to work on the Volkswagen Type 2<\/a> DJ booth project, and in 2017 it became finally a reality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since I have owned this unique DJ booth, it has been everywhere from Joanna’s Boutique Tearoom to Hampton Court Palace. It’s by far the most popular bit of “DJ kit” I own, and my clients love it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This DJ booth is so unique that it has featured in the Jan ’18 issue of the DJ industry’s own magazine Pro Mobile Magazine, and it was also featured at the November 2017 SEDA Shownight.  My VW DJ booth launched in May 2017, at 2 brilliant events.  On Sunday 28th May 2017 I DJ’d at Horsham’s very own PlumJam Classic VW Show<\/a>, and Sunday 4th June 2017 at the fabulous Two Woods Estate<\/a> for the Sussex Wed Fest 2017<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My little VW campervan DJ project had been in the making for some 2 years, so I am very proud to have finally got there.  This is going to be a most amazing addition to your vintage themed wedding, festival wedding, or funky wedding party.  I will set this DJ booth up along with a great sound system, and be your wedding DJ for the evening.  There will be lots of fun photo opportunities!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
