What an absolute blast Alex and Jo\u2019s wedding was! They tied the knot at the fabulous Brookfield Barn<\/a><\/strong> on Thursday 30th October 2025<\/strong>, Brookfield Barn is in Horsham, West Sussex, and being not far from home, it’s also one of my all-time favourite venues to play at. The vibe there is always great, and this one was no exception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After an initial fun Zoom chat, Alex and Jo booked me to DJ their evening reception<\/a>, complete with my unique VW DJ booth<\/strong>,<\/a> which, as always, got loads of great comments throughout the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their music choices were spot on and the energy on the dance floor was incredible from start to finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening kicked off with their first dance<\/strong>, a brilliant mashup of \u201cCan\u2019t Help Falling in Love\u201d by Elvis<\/strong> flowing into \u201cHey Baby\u201d by DJ \u00d6tzi<\/strong>. It was such a fun and unexpected moment that set the tone perfectly for the party ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then came the highlight, the epic newlyweds DJ battle!<\/strong> Alex and Jo each took turns dropping five of their favourite bangers while their guests went wild, cheering and holding up fun signs to show their support. The friendly competition just added to the buzz and made for some unforgettable memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the battle wrapped up, I kept things rolling with a mix of party classics<\/strong> that kept the dance floor packed right through to the end of the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To top it all off, their final song was a surprise twist<\/strong>;\u201cAll I Want for Christmas Is You\u201d<\/em> by Mariah Carey<\/strong>! It was the perfect festive finale that had everyone singing at the top of their lungs despite Xmas being a few weeks away still!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
