How to choose a first dance for your wedding
One of the highlights of a wedding is undoubtedly the first dance. For some couples, just thinking about this makes them very nervous. For others, it’s a chance to have a lot of fun showing off some cool moves to their friends and family at the start of the party. Most guests will expect the evening party to start with a first dance.
No rules
There is one thing to remember about the first dance; there are no rules! It’s YOUR wedding, so you can choose whatever you want. It doesn’t have to be a slow song where only you dance for 4 minutes! You could choose a fast dance, something with lyrics which mean a lot to you both, a slow dance, or a party track. You may have both spent time secretly getting dance lessons in order to give everyone a brilliant performance.
If you feel nervous about your first dance, don’t worry, you are not alone. I can ask everyone at the party to join in from the start if you wish.
